MARK PAXTON, Director Of Basketball at DC Hoops Academy has been coaching basketball for over 10 years. Mark began his coaching career with the Dandenong Rangers after a long playing career at the club. After success within the junior program Mark progressed to seniors and became an assistant coach for the Pakenham Warriors BIG V team.

This then allowed mark to gain valuable skills that enabled him to become a Coach for Basketball Victoria, helping the u14 bushrangers to a bronze medal in 2019!

Marks first senior Head Coaching role came with the Lakes Entrance CBL team.

Since Mark became a professional basketball coach, he has taught all ages and genders from 3 - 50...

Marks knowledge and expertise allowed him to travel around Australia coaching all ages and abilities from beginners to state players in his own camps and clinics.

Mark coaches all athletes with the same respect and energy....he believes everyone deserves a chance to become elite.

Director GRANT DUCA  is an experienced basketball coach who helps all athletes develop their game and achieve their goals. He has a sports coaching degree, with a strong understanding of skill acquisition and talent development, which allows him to specialise in player development and coach education.

With more than 15 years of experience as a head basketball coach, Grant has 2 VJBL championships as a head coach and 1 Big V youth league championship as an assistant coach. For over 5 years, Grant has also been involved with numerous state programs and school programs.
